CFZIP and CFZIPPARAM and Non-Latin Characters
05/24/16 5:49 PM

We are using BD.NET 7.1.1 (latest patch) and are trying to use CFZIP and CFZIPPARAM to zip up files that the filenames contain non-latin characters, like Chinese and characters that contain accent marks in Spanish.

The ZIP archive is created successfully, but the filenames inside are garbled into ASCII and not the actual language characters. We tried adding the charset="utf-8" attribute to CFZIPPARAM, but no such luck.

Any ideas on how to get around this issue?
